How PulseStar handles data in its iOS application for organizations.

Infrastructure for organizations

MIRANDA FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LLC deploys, configures and maintains server infrastructure for organizations under separate service agreements. The organization pays for these services. Its employees use PulseStar free of charge, without purchasing a subscription, access code or separate app license.

QR codes, access codes and access files provide connection configuration and authorization. They are not purchases or activations of paid app features.

The organization’s payment for infrastructure services does not make diagnostic reporting mandatory. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

Client for organizations

PulseStar is a client application for organizations. It connects authorized users using an access profile supplied by their administrator. The service operator is MIRANDA FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LLC.

Traffic volume and access limits

The service keeps track of the volume of transferred traffic to enforce access limits. This is not traffic content or browsing history.

Data use and access

User data is not sold or used for advertising. Diagnostics are accessible only to authorized service administrators for troubleshooting. Infrastructure providers supply servers; they are not granted access to user diagnostics.

Access registration and configuration

The application sends access-registration requests and requests for connection configuration over HTTPS. These use the supplied access information and the parameters required for the requested operation. They are separate from diagnostic-report generation. The inspected HTTP transport disables its cookie storage and response cache.

Local diagnostics

The iOS application maintains a size-bounded local technical journal to troubleshoot connections. It includes technical event codes, timestamps, session identifiers and numerical connection and memory metrics. Journal files rotate by size rather than a fixed number of days. The journal and report directories are excluded from device backups. This internal journal is separate from the optional server reports described below.

Optional server diagnostics

When Send diagnostics is enabled, PulseStar can send technical events over HTTPS while the application is open and active. Reports can include structured system error codes, request identifiers, operation and transport stages, durations and timeouts, HTTP status and safe server error codes, Wi-Fi or mobile-network state, connection state, app and OS versions, and report-queue health. The app and its connection extension can generate events. Reports are linked to your access profile and device record so authorized service administrators can investigate failures; they are not anonymous. Matching server-side completion records may be used to trace a request. Reports exclude credentials, keys, subscription links, QR contents, server addresses, traffic contents, request and response bodies, and free-form error messages.

Diagnostic setting and storage

You can turn Send diagnostics off in Settings. This stops new diagnostic reporting and clears the unsent diagnostic queue, but does not stop the internal journal or delete reports already received by the server. The encrypted local queue is limited to 12 hours, 2 MiB and 2,000 events; events may be discarded when these limits are reached. Server error events and diagnostic request-completion records are retained for up to 7 days; ordinary diagnostic events for up to 12 hours. Event time and server receipt time are recorded separately, so delayed delivery can be identified. To request deletion of previously received records, use the contact below.

Camera

The application requests camera permission to scan an access QR code when you choose that action. Access can also be added by entering a code or choosing an access file.

Data deletion requests

Our team at MIRANDA FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LLC handles data deletion requests and undertakes to complete deletion within 12 hours after the request is confirmed. This covers all records associated with the user that we hold: access data, device records, diagnostics and support correspondence, including copies in backup archives. Email support@pulsstar.com and describe your request. Do not include passwords, access links, QR codes or keys. Disabling or revoking access does not by itself erase all associated records.
